What is this about?
A catalyst increases speed in bringing about a result. One result we're all looking for is growth. At Verve we especially focus on spiritual growth. We want to help you with that. We've designed a variety of catalysts to stimulate growth and bring about the life change we're all hoping for.
One of the catalysts we provide is a daily Bible reading plan. Reading and applying the Bible is one of the keys to knowing God, following Jesus, growing spiritually, and finding freedom in life. Some people want to read the Bible but aren't sure where to start. It is, after all, quite a big book!
So we have made a day-by-day plan for reading through the Bible in a year. Every day you will have a chapter of the Bible emailed to you, along with some study notes and questions to help you really dig into and apply that chapter. Subscribe to it today - it will change your relationship with God and your life!

Bible Reading Plan
Reading and applying the Bible is one of the keys to knowing God, following Jesus, growing spiritually, and finding freedom in life. Some people want to read the Bible but aren't sure where to start. It is, after all, quite a big book!
If you want to learn more about the Bible and how to read it you might want to listen to this message we've done at Verve: The Bible: So Simple A Caveman Could Read It.
Baptism
Baptism is part of how a person accepts Jesus into their life and begins a new life with God. We do baptisms at Verve every few months, or whenever someone asks us to. To learn more about what the Bible says about baptism, listen to this message we did on it at Verve.
How to Pray
Someone once wrote, “Prayer is love.” People often think of prayer as something Christians have to do, or perhaps as something done before meals or with kids before bed. But prayer is love. Prayer is intimacy. Prayer is sharing life with God. It’s talking with our perfect and loving Heavenly Father. There is no right way to have a prayer time with God. In fact, the best way is probably to do it in the way that comes most naturally to you. However you do it, the goal is to seek God and His heart and to pour your heart out to Him to grow in intimacy with Him. Though there is no one right way, we are going to provide a way that you might want to structure your prayer time with God. The nice thing about this structure is that following it will help you to have balance. For instance, it’s easy to spend all of our prayer time making requests of God, and we should make requests of God, but prayer is more than that.
How to Structure Your Prayers
This structure will help you to not just make requests, but to have balance. We’ve developed an acrostic to help you remember the structure. It’s the word PRAY. Here you go:
