FAQs
Who is The Crossing?
The Crossing is a church that has been a cornerstone of the Las Vegas community for more than two decades. They have two existing locations in Vegas, as well as an online campus. We will become The Crossing’s third Las Vegas location.
Will we still be called Verve?
Beginning in September, our location will become known as The Crossing Highlands. You can learn more about the timeline for this change on The Crossing’s web page that outlines the plan for integrating the new Highlands location.
What will this change for me?
We will continue to offer an engaging Sunday gathering every week at our location. You will still see familiar faces, and you will still be able to volunteer and join groups with others who are part of our church. You will have even more opportunities to take your next steps and make an impact in our community through ministries provided by The Crossing.
What will this change for my kids?
Children’s programming for ages birth through 5th grade will continue to be offered alongside Sunday morning gatherings. Student ministry for students in middle and high school will continue to meet weekly at our building from 5:00 to 6:30 p.m. on Sundays.
Who will lead this new campus?
David Diers will serve as the Campus Pastor for The Crossing Highlands; Margaret Nitzel will serve as the Operations And Connections Pastor. David and Margaret will lead this campus with support and direction from The Crossing’s leadership team.
